Knee Arthritis

Osteoarthritis is the degeneration of the smooth lining of a bone within a joint, as a result of aging, altered mechanical loading or intrarticular injuries.

Osteoarthritis progressively causes increasing joint pain and stiffness and deterioration of the quality of life.

Threatmetn options include preservation procedures like intrarticular injections and hight tibial osteotomy. At a later age total knee replacement might be required in order to manage persistent knee.
